Each pair in the Cat‑5e/6 cable carries a different signal. This is the TIA/EIA 568B wiring standard:

• Pair 1, pins 4,5 (Blue/Blu-Wht): Audio signal
• Pair 2, pins 1,2 (Org-Wht/Org): Data signal
• Pair 3, pins 3,6 (Grn-Wht/Grn): Video signal
• Pair 4, pins 7,8 (Brn-Wht/Brn): Power (Pin 7 = negative, Pin 8 = positive)
