Summary

The icon used to call a sub master station or monitor a door station is grayed out and cannot be touch activated. This is due to the JP-4MED having restricted access to door stations and sub master stations.

Solution

The JP-4MED must be initialized to the system reset factory defaults. To initialize the JP-4MED follow the steps below:

1. If the screen is off, press the [HOME] button, or touch the screen to turn it on.
2. Press and hold the [HOME] button, then touch SETTINGS → INSTALL.
    

1. Touch ENTER to continue to the settings.
2. Touch INITIALIZE.
