Configuring and Disabling the IX-DVM Contactless Call Button

Updated on July 14th, 2026

The IX-DVM features a contactless call button on the front of the station. This will place a call when it detects movement close nearby. These instructions for adjusting the settings work for IX Support Tool and IXG Support Tool.

Open Support Tool and log in to the desired site. On the side menu, navigate to Call Settings, Contactless Call.

Use the drop-down menus to adjust the detection time (how long an object has to be held in front of the IX-DVM to trigger the call) or Detection Distance (at what distance the object has to be to be detected). The Contactless Call feature can also be disabled as needed. Once all settings have been configured, click Update or Save (depending on the support tool being used).

In IX Support Tool, navigate to File, Upload Settings to Stations. In IXG Support Tool, navigate to Connection(S), Upload Settings. Select all stations and click Settings
