Solution
- Turn on dip switches 1-3 on SW1.
- Turn on the power while pressing down up and down arrow buttons.
- Release the buttons when the display turns on.
- Press the red X button.
- “E2P ROM CHECK” is displayed during the initialization.
- “E2P ROM OK” is shown when it is done.
- Turn off dip switches 1-3 on SW1.
- Wait one minute, then power cycle the system.
- Verify the information is erased by pressing the down arrow after the welcome screen is displayed. The screen should say “NO ENTRY” meaning no resident names or numbers are stored.
