Occasionally, when attempting to upload or download settings from IX/IXG stations, an E_001 failure message may be encountered. This code indicates a communication issue between the stations and support tool, caused by outdated firmware.

If this happens, it needs to be corrected by installing the IX | IXG Support Tool additional authentication data patch and updating firmware on the affected stations. 

Installing the IX | IXG Support Tool additional authentication data patch:

1. Click the link in the E_001 popup. 
2. When prompted, enter the station type and corresponding MAC address.
3. Download the patch and follow the prompts to install it..

Updating station firmware:

1. Download the latest firmware from Know.aiphone.com.
2. Update the firmware using the IXG Support Tool or web interface.

After making these fixes, be sure to upload settings to the stations to confirm the issue was resolved.
